On-Screen Entertainment

Each month (using our State-of-the-Art projection facility) we stream a selection of encore showings. These are live broadcasts that have been taped from the current Royal Opera House Season of world-class ballet and opera. 

We also screen carefully selected ‘Favourite Movies’ and Stage Musicals.

Special Events

These may include French or Italian Supper and Movie evenings; Last Night of the Proms; Literary Lunches where well-known authors discuss their latest book. These are always popular.

Live Music

‘Live At The Jubilee’ evenings showcase a huge range of musical talent – from Blues and Boogie Woogie to traditional Irish and Russian Folk Songs, from Tribute Bands to Latin Hits. We make a point of satisfying all tastes.

A suitable venue for hire for most functions

You can book the halls/spaces either individually, in any combination, or even the whole centre subject to availability.

Current classes range from Pilates, Kickboxing, Yoga Mind & Body, to Music Lessons, Exercise and Bridge.  We also host Wedding Receptions, Christenings and Children’s Birthday Parties, Craft Fairs, AGMs, Fashion Shows and other community events.

We can accommodate exhibitions, arts and educational events, business meetings, conferences, training, corporate events. We are ideal for small seminars and training events to somewhat larger-scale conferences and exhibitions!

Our extensive facilities – incorporating three major halls, a smaller hall, meeting room, stage, state-of-the-art lighting, large-screen projection and sound systems, theatre space, good size foyer and a separate well-equipped kitchen with a useful large serving hatch. We also have a bar license and bar serving area if required.

Fundraising is particularly important

The Victoria and Jubilee Halls are self-funding from hall rentals and fundraising events such as the ones listed here. All profits from these events are invested into the maintenance and upkeep of the halls.

Profits are invested in hall maintenance and upgrades

Fundraising is particularly important at the present time as a number of improvements and upgrades are required to maintain the facilities.
Profits from our fundraising events are invested in hall maintenance and upgrades, consequently bar revenues are important to us, we therefore ask you not to bring your own drinks.
